POSITION: Library Media Specialist

SCHOOL:    Campobello Gramling School (Grades Pre-k through 8)  

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Valid South Carolina Certification as a Library Media Specialist or in process of obtaining such degree to the satisfaction of the District;

2. Three (3) Years of successful teaching experience preferred  but not required;

3. Desire to be instructional leader in the school as it relates to integrating academic standards, assisting students to be global learners, technology innovation, and literacy across the curriculum in all content areas;

4. Strong technology integration skills and knowledge of Google Apps for Education, one-to-one technology integration and core content standards;

4. Interest in primary, elementary, and middle level  education and related activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

To provide a comprehensive library media program based on state library media standards, District One expectations for library media specialists and library media programs, best practices in school library media programs, and state guidelines for achieving an exemplary library media program.

CONTRACT:  190 days

EFFECTIVE:  July 1, 2017
