HVAC Technician 2017-2018
Job Skills Required:
Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: operating equipment used in the installation, repair and maintenance on HVAC equipment; planning and managing projects; preparing and maintaining accurate records; and handling hazardous materials.
Qualifications:
- Certification or associate’s degree from HVAC program at a technical school;
- Universal EPA Refrigeration Certificate and other Required Testing Certificates & Licenses;
- Minimum five years experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting and correcting diverse HVAC service issues;
- Must be able to pass background check and physical;
- Must have current driver’s license;
- Be available to respond to emergency situations on nights and weekends for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns;
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Contract Days:
240 Days full-time position (effective immediately)
